Teacher Training and Development
Learning Connections has been providing effective PD workshops for teachers around Australia for decades. The training is usually a two day intensive course that provides teachers with in-depth knowledge of children’s neurodevelopmental stages and the best ways to enhance learning in a classroom setting. Learning Connections School Program
The Learning Connections School Program uses knowledge of neurodevelopmental science to develop effective and practical activities for children that efficaciously improve learning and behaviour in the classroom. The training informs teachers of children's neurodevelopmental stages and what children need as they grow and develop in each stage. The program gives teachers not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that can be utilised easily within a classroom setting.
The teacher training program equips educators with tools to help groups of children including:- An easily implemented classroom program that benefits all children and
- Specific strategies to improve children’s concentration, listening, learning and behaviour
The Learning Connections School Program is effective for:
- Sensory processing difficulties
- Behavioural difficulties and classroom management
- Speech and language delay
- Spelling and maths difficulties
- Auditory processing, listening and concentration difficulties
- Social difficulties
- Reading problems
- Impulsivity, short attention span, difficulty following directions
