The ACTIVATE Program

The ACTIVATE Program is a one day workshop available to teachers who have previously participated in the Learning Connections School Program (LCP) two day Training Workshop.

The training includes fun practical classroom activities and strategies to keep the brain switched on. These activities improve learning and modify classroom behaviour, and give valuable insight into identifying individual learning styles and sensory needs in children.

Objectives

To further understand:

• The links between learning and behaviour, and sensory motor and reflex maturation. 
• The links between learning, behaviour and individual learning styles.

Practical Activities

Hands on activities that help teachers identify where children’s problems lie:

• can be used as an adjunct to the Learning Connections School Program (LCP) or as a follow on 
• assist sensory developmental immaturities
• promote perceptual development, both visual and auditory
• promote whole brain learning

Outcome

Knowledge of activities that can be used to enhance learning and improve behaviour, whilst understanding children’s different learning styles within the classroom. Click here to find out when our next training sessions will be held
