Testimonials from Parents, Teachers and Children
What Parents Say...
“I would like to express the success my son is having since attending the Learning Connections Centre.
During Year 2 his teacher approached me as he was experiencing difficulties at school. He had poor social skills; low self esteem and
the teacher said he wasn't learning or hearing properly.
After having him tested by six professionals we were still not seeing any changes in his learning and behaviour. He was a time bomb to live with.
He commenced the Learning Connections program and has made huge progress in 8 months. He is a different child. He is succeeding in school,
his self esteem is very high and he is now happy and a delight to live with as we can now reason with him.
Sound Therapy was commenced 2 months ago and there has been very good improvement in handwriting. His spelling age has improved by 2 years in just 2 months.
He now grasps new concepts more readily.”

My daughter did the Learning Connections program for her Learning Difficulties. It was extremely successful for her, and has made an
enormous difference, not only to her schooling, but to her belief in herself, and her confidence. She no longer believes she is ‘stupid’,
and knows that she is quite smart. It has been fantastic watching her blossom, especially as she has stepped into high school so well.
She went from just muddling through (while thinking every other child in the class was smarter than her) in Grade 7, to her first year of high school
last year, where she received an Academic Merit award based on her results. I have been meaning to give you this fantastic feedback for a while now, as
I’m sure it will be encouraging for everyone involved in the program.
I wish I had known about Learning Connections a long time ago, so that we
could have addressed some of her issues much earlier. Thank you all so much for your efforts.

My son had all the signs of a child who would be labeled ADHD and if it wasn’t for Learning Connections I’m sure
he would be on medication now. As he was heading into Year 8 we had an intellectual assessment done on him as we thought he would need to go to a
small school that could assist him with extra learning help. Well today my son goes to a large school and is in Year 11 and is doing OP subjects
so he can become a Police Officer.
Over the time he was with Learning Connections he improved immensely and with each parent teacher interview I
was told the same thing that he was a very polite and bright student but could do better (and this was after getting “C”s and “B”s
on his report!), after I explained to each teacher how he had struggled through primary school they were just blown away just like I am today.
Thank you so much, I always recommend your centre to people I meet if their child has attention and learning problems.

What Teachers Say...
“I have been teaching Kindergarten children for over 20 years and every year, we see children whose skills aren’t quite developed. The Learning Connections Program is a wonderful way to help all the children in the group. It is very easy to incorporate the games and activities into the daily program and to then increase the complexity as the children’s skill levels develop. The children find it great fun and are keen to be involved.”

“The Learning Connections program offers teacher, students and parents the ability to make changes immediately that result in significant benefits for all.

“We have started doing it [Learning Connections Program] everyday for approximately 15 mins and definitely notice the difference when we don’t do it in the morning.”
